John Park [Senior Pastor]
John (or “J.P.” as everyone calls him) has been the senior pastor at Ambassador since 2005. He grew up in southern California and pastored there for over 8 years before going “coast-to-coast.” He is a graduate of U.C. San Diego (B.A.) and Talbot School of Theology (M.Div and Th.M). He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Talbot.
John has been married to his beautiful and godly wife, Sandy, since 1995, and they have two wonderful children, Nathan and Emily. He loves spending time with his family, exploring new places on the East Coast, and playing sports. When he’s not doing that, you’ll find him keeping up with his favorite sports teams, the Los Angeles Angels, the USC Trojans (football), and the Duke Blue Devils (basketball).
John loves the people of Ambassador and finds it a privilege and a joy to serve them and be a part of what God is doing in and through the church. His passion is to see the church live out its biblical calling to be a God-exalting, people-loving, Christ-proclaiming, Spirit-driven, prayer-filled, and Word-saturated community of believers who are passionate about and committed to God’s redemptive plan to bless all the peoples of the world to the end that God would be glorified. Justin Culbertson [Youth/College Pastor]
Justin is excited to be one of the pastors at Ambassador Bible Church, having joined the church in January 2016. He grew up in New England, usually somewhere between Boston and Providence. He graduated from Liberty University (B.S. Social Sciences) in 2011, completed his seminary program from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Religious Education) in 2014, and was ordained at his former church in Maryland in July 2015.
While at Liberty, Justin met a pretty girl from Maryland named Amanda, and knew pretty quickly this godly girl was the one for him. Amanda and Justin were married in 2011, and find incredible joy in parenting their boys, Jack and Chip. The family enjoys Netflix binges, lots of play time with the boys, visiting family, and getting involved in gospel-centered community within the church. Justin loves to play golf, read books, and drink coffee. Also, he may or may not get a little crazy about his hometown Boston teams (Go Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics!)
Justin has a passion for seeing students engage God in worship. His hope is that students will be intentional in their spiritual growth while building healthy, gospel-centered relationships with their peers and their parents. Contact Justin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lucy Huynh [Children's Ministry Director]
Lucy has been part of the Ambassador family since 2010 and honored to serve the Lord as the children’s ministry (Graceland) director since November 2015. She thanks God everyday for giving her the dream job that He dreamed for her. She gets to serve families and children for an eternal purpose using all her spiritual gifts and educational training to bless the church she loves. Her prayer is that all the children of Ambassador will one day call God their “Abba Father” and live out their faith boldly for His glory.
Lucy’s walk with God began right before college, and much of her spiritual formation developed at the University of Virginia with the help of her college fellowship. From very young she had a heart for children and families but never thought she would be in full-time ministry as she is today. Her heart for children and equipping adults that care for them led her to pursuing a M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University (‘11). After grad school, doors opened up for her in serving God’s people at Ambassador.
Lucy was recently married to her husband Tien in August 2017. They met and fell in love at Ambassador. It has been a joy serving their church together. Contact Lucy at email@example.com.
Liz Kim [Office Assistant]
Liz joined our staff as our church office assistant, because of her desire to serve God through ministry. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Intercultural Studies. After college, her passion for other cultures took her to Seoul, South Korea where she taught English for two years. After returning to the States, Liz met her husband Joon. Liz loves cooking different types of cuisine, watching Korean dramas, and traveling with her family. Contact Liz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ken Ahn [Chairman]

Judy works in Fairfax County and Ken works as an ERP consultant currently supporting a local government agency. In his spare time, Ken can be found on various fields and courts coaching his children’s sports teams and is an avid Cowboys, Wizards, Capitals, and Nationals fan. Go figure!
Ken is humbled to serve the church as an elder. He also leads a men's small group and oversees the small group ministry. With a passion for seeing God work through teams, he is excited to see the Lord continue to grow the Body of Christ at Ambassador according to 1 Cor 12:12-31.

Justin grew up in small towns of Pennsylvania. When he was 14, his family moved to his mom's home town. His grandparents were farmers, and he has a huge extended family who live in and around this small town. It was here that he first clearly understood the Gospel from sound biblical preaching.
After high school, Justin became a carpenter for two years before attending college at Penn State. After his Junior year he took an internship in Richmond, VA and it is there, at a Chinese Baptist Church, that Justin met the love of his life. They dated for three years and married in 2010, and now have two boys and a girl, and live in Arlington, VA.
Justin and his wife are part of a small group that meets in Arlington, VA and Justin works as an engineer at The Air-conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute.

Dae was born in Seoul, South Korea and he moved with his family to the United States at the age of 6. His family put down roots in Northern Virginia and he lived in Alexandria, VA most of his childhood until graduating from high school at T.C. Williams. He became a believer in February, 1998 at the age of 29 and began attending Ambassador Bible Church. Dae began back-sliding due to the fact that he was only attending church services on Sundays and not connected to the Body of Christ. He was eventually invited to a men's small group where his life was changed forever for a second time. In the men's small group Dae's faith grew because of the interactions with godly men and the informal mentoring that took place, the study of the Word, and prayer. From the men in his small group and other godly men in the church he was encouraged to live a God glorying life by serving others, serving at church, going on short-term missions, and being a blessing to others by sharing the Gospel.
He met his wife, Sun Choi, at ABC and they were married in January, 2005. God has blessed them with three boys: Nathan (b. June, 2006), Joshua (b. September, 2007) and Matthew (b. August, 2009).
