MISSIONS | FALL 2025 | ONLINE
Opportunity to Help a Child to Read
Our team recently returned from the Middle East in September, and we're excited about new opportunities developing for 2026 – more news on that soon! Currently, we have an immediate need in our Afghan education program. An 8-year-old male student needs assistance with English pronunciation as he reads simple books. Can you spare 30 minutes once or twice a week, from now until Christmas, to help him read his English books online, focusing on the phonetic alphabet? ABC will provide the books. WOMEN | SPRING 2026 | BURKE COMMUNITY CHURCH
Entrust
We are excited to announce that this spring, the Entrust Virginia Hub will be hosting Module 2, Developing a Discerning Heart. The scheduled dates for the training are March 19-21 and April 23-25, 2026, hosted at Burke Community Church in Burke, VA. Registration is currently open and will close on December 12, 2025. Men's Retreat
Registration is now open for the Men’s Winter Retreat happening Jan 30-Feb 1 at Pinecreek Retreat Center. The theme is “The Father’s Love” and our speaker is Benjamin Shin. Men, come and “see what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1John 3:1). We encourage you to register early as space is limited. The registration deadline is Jan. 4.

Momentum Seminar - Healing from Spiritual Abuse and Church Hurt
Young Adults of ABC - have you or any of your friends had spiritual abuse or Church harm as part of your story? This seminar and subsequent small group discussion provides greater information about the facets of Christian spiritual abuse, how to take steps towards healing from abuse, and how to cultivate a community in Momentum that is thoughtful towards spiritual abuse and church harm. We invite you to consider bringing any outside friends, as this event will be sensitive to many backgrounds and experiences. Please sign up for this seminar here. Contact P. Christmas Choir
Inviting all singers! For the past two years, we have been delighted to share in worship with an A Capella mixed choir led by Steve Tang, who will help direct again for this upcoming season. There are no formal auditions, but the ability to sight read music is preferred. If you are high school age or above, and can make the majority of the following rehearsal dates at ABC (11/21 7-9pm, 11/30 1-3pm, 12/4 7-9pm and 12/13 10-noon), we welcome you to contact Steve. The performance will be for both 9:15am and 11:00am services on Dec 14th.
