Our responsibility as God’s representatives on earth (“the Church”) is to be faithful to the role of being God’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20) to all the nations. The goal of being a “multi-ethnic” community is the sovereign work of God – something we cannot control or manufacture. It is a secondary value to our desire to see God work through His power to change lives. Genuine spiritual transformation is our primary vision.

However, we believe that ABC can be diverse through its leadership; therefore ABC has been intentional in its selection of a diverse staff. We feel that multi-ethnicity is necessary to be relevant in the multicultural DC metro area and in the future of the globalized world.
